Motive
Hi Everyone!Today I wanted to write about "Motive" from the "In Motion" album. "Motive" was another great melody that came from the shelf of my ideas. It started with a whole different style of drum idea originally. It had more of a native drum sound, that was just hard to let go. I may revisit those drums one day in something else. I still wanted to keep the authenticity of the music and not compromise it. Which I think gives it that genuine feel to get you going. It just didn't seem to have enough of what I was looking for. It took me a long time to finally have it play out the way I intended. I just needed the right "Motive".
