"Gravity" from the album 'The Universe"

Gravity

Hi Everyone,

This week I wanted to talk about ‘Gravity’ and what to look forward to with the music pieces on the upcoming album “The Universe”.

Today I wanted to talk about “Gravity” from the upcoming album “The Universe”.
Of course most of us know in 1687, English mathematician Sir Isaac Newton made this discovery. This however is another important part of the universe while trying to not go into a lot of technical detail.  In a short description, it is a natural thing in which mass is brought together, in other words a way in which objects from the tiniest atom or element are brought together.  They are drawn to each other like a magnet.  I wanted to mention this piece being one of the most common and important parts in a brief description to the universe.  Musically this can be quite a challenge, and the idea here is mostly to convey a type of story than an actual or literal description.  I would hope that the music may have a way in which the listener may be drawn toward it.

More things to think about.  In the meantime if you haven't listened to my other albums, feel free to share any of following links below:

"Elements" from the album "The Universe"

Elements

Hi Everyone,

This week I wanted to talk about ‘Elements’ and what to look forward to with the music pieces on the upcoming album “The Universe”.

Today I wanted to talk about “Elements” from the upcoming album “The Universe”.  Now I imagine this would not be the first thing people think about in describing the universe, but this is a very important part.  This of course is not to make this piece sound technical or not appealing to listen to, just something important in this process.  In writing this piece of music it is not something that is necessarily easy to describe.  I would imagine that it to be some kind of thought of watching things as they come together.  The universe is a series of elements that are constantly coming together forming one thing or another.  Most of us have seen things put together in a timely manner with examples of animations or ingredients such as cooking and baking.  The elements come together to form the result.  With this music piece this was not intended to describe music like it was in a blender but more of an orchestration of music coming together.

New posts on the upcoming album “The Universe”

Journey through "The Universe"

Hi Everyone,

This week I wanted to talk briefly about some of what to look forward to with the music pieces on the upcoming album “The Universe”.

This will be yet another take with a different angle of music.  The universe is indeed a large and endless place with unlimited ways to completely capture its entirety in a single music album.  I did want to take and highlight just a few of the many things it has to offer.  Join me as we begin this journey from the hot surface of the Sun to the cold regions of Pluto.  I would like to share with you in upcoming posts a glimpse of possibilities of what you can imagine it would be like to travel to the planets in our solar system and the cosmos.

"Sneak Attack" from the album "No Limit to the Skies"

Sneak Attack

Hi Everyone,

This week I wanted to talk about the music piece "Sneak Attack" from the "No Limit to the Skies" album.
This is final piece on this album.  This is a tiny excerpt as an idea for a military ground forces segment.  If it were a hot day or a cold dark night, how would you think of a setting to present?  Well the setting I imagined was to be a little bit on the eerie side.  Many of us have seen spy or combat movies or read books about action or military scenarios.  Even though “Sneak Attack” is relatively short, it was to give a little suspense as if you were walking through dangerous terrain or jungle or someplace intense.   If you listened to the “Close Surveillance” (original concept) from the album “No Limit to the Skies” it is more of a builder of suspense with more of an abrupt ending.  Or with the later version on the “In Motion” album, which has a little bit of a different setting with more of a victory with its approach.  To conclude this album, it was a subtle way to leave you wanting more with a “Sneak Attack”.
