"New Sound of Victory" from the album "No Limit to the Skies"

New Sound of Victory

Hi Everyone!

This week I wanted to talk about the music piece "New Sound of Victory" from the "No Limit to the Skies" album.  This was one that was just fun to play along with.  The piece was originally written for a Video Game (VG) in the days where game technology was in a large transition. From 8-bit Atari and Nintendo digital beeps and sounds to music composition for other 16-bit game systems.  Many of these music pieces were a challenge to work with for length and timing.  I was aiming for a successful conclusion for a scene in this game.  Most of these scenes were relatively short to be put into play during loading time or end of a mission sequences.  Of course everyone wants a victorious ending.  The project as many of them are were changed, cut or adjusted to fit criteria.  This was one of them.  Things were not always consistent and were at times outdated quickly.  This original concept made it to the 20 Anniversary Edition of this album and also was re-written, lengthened, and then released on the 'In Motion' album in 2014.  After such a long trip of not making its debut, it is now available for your enjoyment.  In a way it is a 'New Sound of Victory'.

More things to think about. In the meantime if you haven't listened to my other albums, feel free to share any of following links below:
